The electrotherapies that will be used at Stafford Veterinary Physiotherapy are phototherapy, pulsed electromagnetic field therapy and therapeutic ultrasound.

Pulsed electromagnetic field therapy can be used to reduce pain, promote proprioception, aid healing of fractures, reduce inflammation, and promote the healing of tendons and ligaments.

The phototherapy that is used at Stafford Veterinary Physiotherapy is Imita Red LED Phototherapy from Westville Therapies. This phototherapy can be used to help muscle tears and tendinopathies as well as wounds and burns.

Therapeutic ultrasound can be used to help with tissue and fracture repairs as well as aid in muscle contractures.
